Hurrah! Julia Quinn has regained her throne as "Queen of Romance" with this delightful romp. I was disheartened after her last book of the Smyth-Smith series, but she has hit a home run with another of those FABULOUS Bridgertons.
This is a prequel to that series but totally wonderful in its own right. And to top off the wonderful character of Miss Billie Bridgerton, we have the added attraction of another of those wickedly funny Pall Mall games. It only goes to show that the family that plays together stays together!

Loved it. Started a little slow, but in her usual fashion Quinn managed to have delightful conversation between the major characters, a skill that is hard for most writers. I love Quinn's books so it is hard to disappoint me. I highly recommend reading her books, but especially the Bridgerton series.

I liked this story, not as much as I had hoped too but it was good.
Characters just didn't seem to pop as much as her other Bridgeton's did.
Still a fun story, lots of mishaps and misunderstandings that lead to fun and adventure.
