The twists kept coming in this story and I loved it! It's very current, with the main storyline being about internet identity theft. I could not put this down after the first page!

I'm always excited to read the newest Harlan Coben book as he is one of my favorite authors and I read every book he wrote. His stand-alone books are my favorite thrillers.

This book is no exception, it is thrilling, exciting, mind boggling and electrifying! As for the end.....never saw it coming!!

Not the "typical" thriller in my opinion from Harlan Coben, but filled with twists and turns that you will never see coming. Characters are flawed, realistic and filled with depth. The storyline in my opinion is not an overdone, trite who dunnit but a "thinking man's" mystery. I definitely recommend it.

NYPD Detective Kat Donovan is in a rut. Her best friend tells her that she needs to get out more, then signs Kat up at an online dating site. Kat sits down to look at the site; and is soon staring at a picture of her ex-fiancé, Jeff Raynes, who dumped her eighteen years ago. Kat sends him a quick message, but he doesn't seem to remember her.

A few days later, teenager Brandon Phelps comes to the Police Station to ask for Kat's help. His mother is missing. She left on a trip with her new boyfriend and hasn't been in touch with Brandon. She has also made a large cash withdrawal from her checking account. Kat discovers that Dana Phelps was also using "justmytype.com" as her online dating site...and Dana's boyfriend is Jeff Raynes.

As usual with books by Harlan Coben, there is a lot going on. Not only is Kat looking into Dana Phelps disappearance, she also discovers that several people who were using the dating site have disappeared without a trace. On top of that, Kat goes to a prison to visit the man who confessed to her father's murder. She gets a confession that she wasn't prepared for.

This book is fast paced with lots of twists and turns. I listened to the audiobook narrated by January LaVoy who does an outstanding job with so many characters. Kat Donovan was a great character. I hope we see more of her using her detective skills in future books. My only problem with this story was the last chapter. It was just too much for me to believe. I think the story would have been better if it had ended before the last chapter. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
