Written for juvenile reading?
Very slow with nothing really happening on each page except for questions questions questions that don't get answered.
People very boring and nothing to keep your interest.
Suggest you get something else to read.

I did not expect to enjoy Missing as much as I did! I found the story interesting, the characters great, and the mystery... is STILL a mystery (I can hardly wait to read book two!)!
I loved how all of the characters weren't Amish, and how there was a detective from Cincinnati that comes to help on the murder case - that made the story so entertaining!

Slow moving book. Too, too much unnecessary detail and conversation that frankly probably would never happen.
It was just a book, definitely nothing special.

Fun easy read. A mystery of the death of an Amish boy gone rogue, but it is not resolved in this first book. Not completely Amish a mixture of Amish and English characters. The antics in the variety store are comical, looking forward to more in the second book.
