Excellent, twisty page-turner with fully developed characters. Along with conspiracy and murder this book also addresses issues around unhoused people.
I had a very hard time getting through this one. Too much backstory, too many characters with complicated events having taken place previously.
I loved several other Quinn & Costa novels, but The Missing Witness just didn't work for me.
