Danni works as a social media influencer. When she breaks up with her boyfriend, she also gets away to Alaska to visit her best friend who is getting ready to have a baby. Oh and Christmas is right around the corner. Declan is an Alaskan State Trooper. He is also ex-army and happens to be an amputee (leg). His ex couldn't deal and he has been single since.
I liked the romance and could see Danni and Declan together. Their big thing is Alaska is, well Alaska and is remote, and Danni is a city girl. I thought she adapted well to the slower pace in Alaska. The ending was satisfying (Danni's job is adaptable and she is still doing what she enjoys).
Nice, sweet holiday read. Would recommend this to anyone in the mood for a holiday romance that wants a "clean" romance. I don't remember there being any objectionable language in this either.
