I truly enjoyed reading this book. I actually read it three times and always looked forward to reading it each and every time.
a strange and beautiful novel. It was a little hard for me to get into but worth wading through the dreamy prose.
The way this author writes reminds me a little of Isabelle Allende. The book uses the lore of spices to build a novel about a modern-day mystic healer who lives in San Francisco.
Read this book several years ago and enjoyed the change of scene.
A very good book which gave me a greater appreciation for Indian culture.

Good read and interesting details about the Indian culture and immigrant life in America. Hard to put down.
