I always enjoy this series! This one had a few too many characters but still, I enjoyed the mystery. It is a light, fun read.
There is no feeling of a timeline to this plot. Her early books were really good and the later ones started to fall apart...this one bombed.
What Carol's review said.
This is a fast read and a somewhat boring story. Carol Higgins Clark has a habit of introducing way too many characters. If you read it straight through, then you can keep tract of the characters. But, if you put the book down and then pick it up again, you tend to forget the characters. PI Regan Reilly and her husband, Jack, are involved in another mystery with unexpected plot twists on the Jersey shore.
Too many characters to keep them straight & not much plot.
Interesting, not as compelling as some, but very typical CHC.
