I enjoyed this wide-ranging book while on vacation at the beach. It made me think about the ocean in new ways. It covers a lot of ground from oceanography & geography to Melville & Carson to the plastics industry & how we think about childhood. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for direct and brief answers, but if you'd enjoy flowing along where the currents may take you you'll probably like this book.
