The Modigliani Scandal - Signet Author:Ken Follett A fabulous "lost masterpiece" becomes the ultimate prize for an art historian whose ambition consumes everyone around her, an angry young painter with a plan for revenge on the art establishment, and a desperate gallery owner who may have double-crossed his own life away...
This is one of Follettâs earlier books. A âlost masterpieceâ becomes the ultimate prize for an art historian, an angry young painter and a desperate gallery owner. Major themes include theft, forgery, betrayal and even murder. Not a typical Follett book but still an enjoyable read. Recommend to those who like books with interesting characters.
This is an early book by Ken Follett and it is different than any other of his books that I have read. Pay attention when you read it or you will make the same mistake I made. I had to go back through it rapidly in order to understand the ending. I really enjoyed the book. Genny Sikes
