I found this was a good story, pretty typical of the genre. I could have done without the gay man love story foar too prominant and not believable for the time.

Good read, different from the first and not as fulfilling for such a long time between books.

This book is about Emily's sister Abigail(from the first book) who is deaf. There was not as much action as the first book but it was an enjoyable, quick read. Talorc is the Highland Laird Emily was supposed to marry but didn't. Now several years later as redress for the loss of his original bride, the king orders Talorc and Abigail to marry. But only Abigail's family know she is deaf, she has learned to lip read and talk in a normal voice. It is a nice story and a quick read, nothing very complicated or stressful, so sit down, relax and enjoy..

Really liked this book. 2nd in the series and I liked this story better than the 1st. GOOD Angst with happy ending, isn't that way make a perfect romance?

I think I find this paranormal historic series better than Monroes contemporary romance. It was a fun book with a few On no moments. All the characters were loveable and with plenty of flaws. I actually loved the homosexual love affair because they were such drama queens about it (probably set back proper PC gay image but so cute). It was such a quick, easy read.

This book was probably a paranormal romance before it was historic. Im pretty sure historically there were very few accurate details so if you are really into true historical romance, this wouldnt be for you.

Already started the third one in the series and I hope Monroe continues writing them.

I would give this book 4.25 stars if possible. I really liked it. In my opinion it was better than the first of the series. I really liked the female lead. As I said in my review for Moon Awakening (book 1), this series is reminiscent of Julie Garwood historicals, e.g., The Bride and The Wedding), although not quite AS good; however, I have the 3 books of the series that are out so far on my keeper shelf and I have read this specific one several times already.

Very exciting continuation of the series. Strong men and women who have to give a bit to trust. Lots of action.

When Talorc-laird of the Sinclair clan and leader of his werewolf pack- must wed an Englishwoman, he's shocked to find that she is his mate. Deaf since childhood, Abigail hopes to keep her affliction from Talorc as long as possible, just as he has no intention of telling her that he's a werewolf. But when Abigail learns that the husband she's begun to love has deceived her, it will take all his warrior's strength-and his wolf's cunning-to win his wife back.
