This is paranormal erotica, and more than a little strange. Wolf-shifters, living leather pets/guardians (and occasionally sex toys), and people with psychic powers all from another planet that all somehow ended up on Earth. I didn't get any sense of how or why that was.
There was also a lot of repetitive word usage where she'd overuse one word in a paragraph, then a different word in the next paragraph.
The biggest issue with the book for me was that it left a *lot* of loose threads so it didn't really feel completed. However, it was interesting enough that I would like to read the next one to see how things are resolved.
