The most apparent item about this story was that it was too long. The plot dragged until the last handful of chapters. Maybe in colloquial Mississippi, people use ain't routinely, not in the South where I live. To be blunt, this story wasn't very interesting. Who cares about going to home parties for makeup or going to the grocery store? I cannot understand the high rating.
