I loved this book! Janet Chapman is definitely my new favorite paranormal romance author. I would recommend reading all of her "Highlander" series first before reading this book, which is the start of a new series. Although, "Moonlight Warrior" can stand alone, the majority of the characters were taken from the "Highlander" books. I have only read the first book in that series so far and I enjoyed the references to the characters in that book. Reading this book was like visiting old friends. The character development in this book was excellent. I adored the loving relationship the main character, Eve, had with her mother, Mabel. Mabel is slowly losing touch with the world through dementia and much of the book concerns Eve's struggles to come to terms with her mother's illness. I also loved the gradual development of the love relationship between Kenzie and Eve. Add in a man who is a dragon because he thinks he is a dragon, magic, an ancient wizard, magic pens, evil spirits, and an ancient soul warrior (that used to be a panther) and you have a great book! I recommend this book to anybody who enjoys paranormal romances.

I loved this story and anxiously await the next. It had carry over characters from her other books and if you haven't read any in her Highlander series, you don't know what you are missing. Her stories and characters are strong and vibrant. Her books catch you on the first page and you won't want to put it down. I keep a watch on her website anxiously awaiting the next. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Really great addition to her series set in Maine. Feel good romance with a touch of paranormal.

I loved this story of a gentle hearted tough guy rescuing the lady who doesn't want to be rescued. There's some paranormal elements (he used to be a panther and is trying to help a dragon return to human form) but the love story is the main theme here, so you might enjoy it even if paranormals aren't your thing. You see the characters from her Highlander series which is fun if you've read them. Chapman writes touchingly about dementia and women's friendships along with providing a great love story.

Another in her highland warrior series. And another one to add to your must-read list. Strong characters (men and women), original plot, steamy love.

Got this through my library. I had a rocky start with it, as I had a little time establishing the time period it was taking place, but once I figured that out the rest followed smoothly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the end of the book. It was just a really nice read, although it does bring in several other characters other then the main couple. But it was good enough that I'm on here looking for more...Have since found out I have to get the Highlander series as well :)

Great read. A fun and funny romp that is light on the sexual details. This is also one of my daughters favorites books.

Great vacation from reality, fun tie-ins to earlier novels, paranormal ramped up a little bit from earlier books, a nice escape. Love being in Maine instead of the highlands as in so many other highlander novels, great idea.
