Really well written. Very enjoyable. From the view of Mordred, King Arthur's son and nemesis.

This novel tels the story of Camelot from the perspective of Mordred, the illegitimate son (and nephew) of King Arthur.

Not a bad take on the legend, although the Mordred narrating the book is a little too emo teen angst for my taste -- I guess when you read a book about Mordred you are kind of asking for emo teen angst, being as how he is the original emo teen! -- and I kind of feel the last ten pages or so are worth the entire rest of the book.

I was very disappointed. I found this book to be hard to get into and boring. I did not read the sequel because I disliked this book so much.

My pre-teen picked it up from the library and I grabbed it, as it sounded good and it was a new author for me! I have enjoyed Arthurian tales in the past. So, I was intrigued. This book is wonderful, quick, the language is beautiful. The story line is compelling and the characters are very much human and belieavable.

WOW! I highly recommend this book to all ages!
