Great read. Two delightful heroes [Demitri the demi-god and Leon the Cajun shifter] and a heroine [Val] with a built in 'evil twin'. The characters are great, the plot has lots of action and the setting is beautifully detailed. As far as sex scenes go, there is something for everyone [M/M and M/F/M and M/F].

3000 years ago, vengeance demon Val got a taste for blood. Demitri was sent by Aphrodite to seduce and capture her; instead he fell in love with her. Unhappily recognizing how dangerous she was, he gave her to Aphrodite in hopes the demon could be destroyed. It didn't work and she is to be destroyed. Demetri still loves her and Leon has fallen for her as well. They have two weeks to help her save herself - or all three will bear the consequences [and with the Greek pantheon, that could mean a very long and lingering death indeed.]

Demitri was first introduced in Mortal Temptations and other than occasional mentions of his friends [Nico and Andreas] getting married there is little overlap - which is a long way of saying the order doesn't seem to matter much in this series [at least so far!]

Mortal series:
Mortal Temptations
Mortal Seductions

Wow! Oh my! Still fanning myself over here! Excellent story! Scorching hot sex, plus a plot - go figure. Not for the faint of heart, but if you have an open mind about sex, you'll love this book. The paranormal touch is unique - which is saying a lot these days.

This was a pretty good story that had my interest from beginning to end. I liked that it wasnt just regular run of the mill story. The sex was good.

So much hotter than the first book. James write some really good guy on guy scenes. I am dying of jealousy of Val here.

Again like the first book blah on the plot and all that but the sex scenes totally carry this book.

I didn't like Val that much (good vs. evil twin is kind of lame) but I loved Leon and Demitri. Their interaction was great even outside the bedroom. There was enough humor to make it fun.

Awesome erotica.

I enjoyed this book but it didn't grab me like the first one [book:Mortal Temptations|3430119] which I absolutely loved. From the first line - Demitri really knew how to screw - I knew this was going to be one erotic read! Demitri betrays Valenarian and spends the rest of the book making up for it. Leon enters the story and the hot three-way sex starts. Both Demitri and Leon are cat shifters and the sex scenes between them are intense and H.O.T. much better than the M/M/F scenes. Valenarian is a demon and a bad one at that so I found myself pulling away from her and routing for Leon and Demitri more than the three of them together.

I liked Demitri in the book Mortal Temptations and was happy he got his own book. Enjoyed the budding three way romance. Leon being a working class type vs Demitri's button down type. Val tied them all together with lots of sass and passion.
