For anyone who has lost a mother, this is one of the best books I've read to date @ loss, friendship and faith. This author was new to my realm of authors I ususally stick with, and this book is only available thru the Literary Guild accounts and I actually got it by accident when I didn't cancel the month's selection. It grabs your attention from the first and has a deep and hopeful ending

This is a wonderful story of life and how its past and present affects us. This is a story of two women whose paths cross in a most ordinary way only to find out that the pasts of one of them links them together in the present.

Heartwarmingly funny with a nice surprise ending. Great read!

This is a wonderful book. I absolutely loved every word of it. The story line is super and the characters are so vivid and real. If you have a mom, had a mom, or are a mom, this book will touch your heart.

This book is way out of my usual genres, but I saw so many PBSers compliment it in the forums that I took a chance and requested it. I enjoyed it very much! Mary, a wife and mother of 2 teenage sons, is still grieving for her mother 5 years after her death. She meets Cathy, a young girl many years her junior, who then loses her mother unexpectedly--and they immediately forge a very strong friendship. And they set off on a college adventure! I thought the characters were all very likeable, there was lots of humor, and also lots of teary moments. Just the right mix. I am glad I trusted my fellow PBSers!!
