This is my favorite kids book. The simple illustrations and the flow of the story are marvelous. Every kid I've read it to has loved it too. The cute little baby bird goes through the story looking for its mother and I think the way it goes about its quest really appeals to kids because it thinks the way they do. Highly recommended.

My 2-year-old son loves this book. He calls it the "mama book". I enjoy reading it to him, too...maybe even more than he enjoys hearing it. It's a great story.
Great book for repetition that children enjoy chiming in with "Are You my mother"...they love it every time.
We read this book 100's of times, kids love it!

I loved this book as a child, and so did my daughter! There is some crayon marks and a name in this book but it's still readable and mint condition otherwise.
A baby bird looking for his mother.
One of the great Dr. Seuss books. A baby bird gets lost and searches for it's mother.
