This was a great book. Fast read, good story and wonderful characters. Location Hawaii.
This is not a scorcher. So don't be put off by the cover or title. This is tame compared to other erotica publications but the sexual tension and scenes are hot, but not too graphic.

Another winner for Ms. Dimon! The dialogue is funny, quick and smart. The sex scenes are steamy. I found myself emotionally routing for the characters. I give it four stars!

Good read. Contemporary romantic suspense. The heroine [whose mouth drives him crazy] never shuts up. She's snarky, sarcastic and lying about almost everything. He's in the middle of a world of difficulties when she washes up naked and half dead on his beach. He's a cop already on suspension while Internal Affairs investigates the killing of a juvenile suspect - he doesn't need more trouble. And she is BIG trouble.

My favorite part in the book [right after he finally tells her he loves her]:
"I'm a bit worried that I'll strangle you before the wedding, but I'll work on that."

Spoiler alert.

This almost got 4 stars from me, but then I got to page 263 where the hero confronts the bad guy who has a gun and 3 hostages, but the hero doesn't come armed (and he's the chief of police.) I actually said, "Really? Give me a break!" out loud. I'm so tired of romance writers who don't think they have to have their characters do the sensible thing if it gets in the way of how they want to write the story. It ruins the whole story for me. It's nearly as frustrating that romance readers think this is great. Where are your standards, people?
