I don't know about you, but I'm always hard-pressed to find a good romantic movie that's not cheesy or too Hollywood. (I absolutely draw the line at the ones Hallmark puts out.) By accident, I just saw a gem the other day: Promised (Aussie, 2019). Based on a true story, it's a classic arranged marriage tale involving two Italian families in Australia in the 1950s.
