I have read P&P and it was a very difficult read for me. HOWEVER, this book was very easy for me to read.
Told in Darcy's voice it was a funny and droll read. I did laugh at parts that i did not expect to. It does explain things a little more clearly than austen's work, in my opinion.
I highly recommend it for any P&P fan. A nice compliment to austen's work. Ms. Grange does a good job.

I love Pride and Prejudice! This is a fun, clean "Darcy" version of the events in the book. Most of the dialog is Austen, but Grange imagines what Darcy's thoughts could be. It is (mostly) realistic to how Darcy acts. The end does include some scenes after Elizabeth and Darcy are married that are less realistic.

As a fan of Jane Austen, I was very disappointed by this book. It's just a rehashing of Pride and Prejudice with almost the same dialogue. Very little of it was new or innovative. Mostly it just seemed like Grange was trying to improve on Austen's impeccable work. In short, a complete travesty.

This seems shorter than the original because less lengthy description is included, making it an easier faster read. Maintains the integrity of the original well and includes what Darcy thought of events as they unrolled. Not many other surrounding events are explored: I would have liked to see more of the Wickham story and more about what the men do when they are at "business" (what did they do anyway?!). Highly recommended for P+P fans! Yes!
Retelling of P&P from Darcy's perspective by way of diary entries. Nice, easy read but I felt Pamela Aidan's trilogy was much more satisfying.
A great story - told via his diary - from Mr. Darcy's perspective.
Very good. I have to admit this is the first sequel to P&P I've read. I almost forgot I was reading a novel by another author... If you'd like to read more about the story this is very true to the original story and the characters as written by Austen. I loved it! BTW my husband did too!
This is the first Pride and Prejudice spin off that I have read. I must say that I loved every second of it. I didn't want the book to end. I loved Mr. Darcy for all his faults. I highly recommend this book.
Loved this book!
I struggled to finish reading this book. It was just recounting the events in Pride and Prejudice. The voice of Darcy was dull and the writing was something you would find in a young adult novel. Boring read.
The author does a great job to include the same dialog that was in Pride & Prejudice but with Darcy's perspective. I enjoyed the book even though after a while Darcy seems to sound very dull. Though, you will fall again with Mr. Darcy. It makes you want to reread Pride & Prejudice
enjoyed this book a lot
I loved this book! A telling of the events of Pride and Prejudice through Darcy's eyes. Plus, a small look at the Darcy's married life. Fun all around.
