What a fun little romance! A young lady gets caught up in the machinations of an old school chum and falls in love with the very man who's the target of the friend's plot. Malcolm was a little high-handed with his list of requirements for a perfect wife, but he still was very likable, just a little misdirected. Julia the friend was a totally annoying and manipulating baggage in the way most beautiful, spoiled young misses are, but she redeems herself when she owns up to her bad behavior. And Selina was no pushover, despite getting caught in Julia's web. All of this came together quite well, but unraveled a bit toward the end as everyone at the house party tried to influence the outcome. It's a little lightweight, but thoroughly enjoyable. 3.5 stars.
