I love the MacLean series but the plot on this one is really lame. And that is saying a lot since my expectations on romances are rather low. I do love all the characters though. At the end when everything got explained away, I was left feeling like I wasted a lot of time.

Really enjoyed this book, the plot, the intrique and the tension was great. Like how she re-wrote and gave alot of backgound in it that fills in the gaps. A great read.

This book is a rewrite of an earlier book. It is on the "hokey" side, but still an entertaining read. In it the author shows how the MacLean "weather" curse got started and has a lead-in to the basis for her new series. It is a fast read and I would recommend it for its whimsey and mystery.
