While this was a good book and well written the story is greatly disturbing. To think that anybody would abuse such a young child for years and years and the mother let it continue is just totally revolting and beyond all belief.. I know this stuff happens but so so sad and very hard to read about. I am sorry for the little girl,Lisa that nobody saved her from all this abuse. I am glad she has a family of her own now and could move on...
