Babson's characters are bigger than life, and she does cat mysteires with great affection. A prestegious cat show in London is the setting-murder, larceny, jealousy, and lots of skullduggery! Printed in 1990.

From the beginning of the book. " Growling, tail lashing, Pyramus moved towards the inspector. He paused and roared an ear-splitting challenge. As Pyramus started foward, I snatched up the sculptors stand. Hold the stand in front of me, I tried to block Pyramus advance. ' Get back! Back!' I Jabbed the metal legs at him...... This was a very enjoyable, easy read. I love cats and mysteries and this was a fun mystery set in the cat show arena with all the usual suspects from the over zealous cat owner to the diva to a nice little twist at the end with some kids.

{erfect felines, perfect prize, purrfect murder. Doug Perkins doesn't dislike cats - he just isn't especially interested in them. But the struggling young London p.r. firm of Perkins & Tate can't affort to be choosy about the jobs they take.
