In this book we learn more about Meren's family. If you are upset with some of your close relatives, after reading about Meren's dysfunctional family you'll appreciate yours more. It actually annoyed me that Ms. Robinson didn't kill more of them off by the book's end.

It was an interesting mystery with three plot lines, one of which we didn't know about until the end of the book. However, the resolution of the third plot line did seem a bit contrived, as were the deaths of two characters we won't miss.
