This is the last book in the charming Amish Village series, which I really enjoyed. It was fun to meet old friends, especially, and check in with what was happening in their lives and in the village. My favorite character is this book is Preston, who'd we'd met before, but it was great to see the progress he was able to make in rejoining society, while dealing with PTSD from his years in Afghanistan. If you enjoy cozy mysteries, I'm sure you will enjoy Murder Freshly Baked, even if you don't usually read Amish books. I wish there were going to be more books in the series. I recommend the whole series and it would be the most enjoyable, if you read them in order.
