Awesome book! Can't wait to read more from this author. The story is fast paced (for the most part) and the way the heroine finds things out is quite believable. Their are loads of suspects and you think they are all guilty at some point along the way. Then, a good old fashioned murder takes place. The best thing of all is that I really had NO idea who was behind everything and I loved the end!!

I enjoyed this book. It was a little slow at the beginning, but picked up. Kept you almost guessing until the end.

Awesome book! Grips you from page 1. Lots of colorful characters for you to decide who the killer may have been. Includes a situation regarding Alzheimer's and the family dynamic, heartbreaking. Wonderful little book and I look forward to reading other books in the series. This is book 1. Wonderful descriptions in its Historical details, Victorian houses and the town too. BTW these books have character development so you should start with book 1.

This is a great cozy - a blend of the three H's, homicide, history and humor.

"Home to some of the Old South's most famous ghost walks, historic Wilmington's "haunted" mansions delight thrill seekers and the curious alike. For Ashley Wilkes, newly commissioned to work as historic preservationist on one of Orange Street's stunning antebellum homes, it's not ghosts she tangles with, but actual dead bodies. Two skeletons, possibly the remains of the owners believed to have left town suddenly in the dark of night, add more spice to the story."
