A very good book, keeps you guessing till the end on who did it. Also a great book to take to the beach, as it does talk a lot about the beach and sea life. Also deals with protecting the sea life (especially turtles) which is an added bonus to the book.

MURDER MAKES WAVES is another hilarious and charming story by Anne George. Sisters Mary Alice and Patricia Anne go to Destin, Florida and stay at Mary Alice's condo. They take Patricia Anne's daughter Haley and their friend Frances with them. For whatever reason these 2 sisters always get into trouble and this trip is no different. They discover a body on the beach, their detective instincts kick in and they began trying to solve the mystery.
This is the fourth book in the Southern Sisters Mystery Series. This entire series just brings a smile to my lips when thinking about them. The jokes and sibling rivalry crack me up. If you need a lift then pick up one of the Southern Sister Mysteries. I can't put these books down once I start reading them.

The fifth book in the Southrn Sisters mystery series. Patricia Anne and Mary Alice are sisters. One is tall, the other is short; one is thin, the other is fat; one is a teacher, the other is a rich widow and they keep you laughing through the entire book. A great cozy mystery series.

This is the fourth book in a series about two southern sisters who keep stumbling into crimes that need to be solved. It was an enjoyable book to read, full of vivid characters. So park an umbrella near the Gulf of Mexico for a bit, and enjoy!

Love this series as I am a little bit Sister and more than a little bit Mouse! This go-round Mouse, Sister, Haley, and Frances go to Destin for a little R&R but instead find 2 bodies. Quick dialogue as usual and fun characters. One of the best of the series.

Mary Alice is living it up while Patricia Anne tries to relax with murder abounding.

Very relaxing read. Two sisters, daughter and friend go on vacation at the beach, at one of the sisters beach condo. One of their casual friends is found dead and there they go on the trail of trying to find the killer, since the police are not doing the job the way they the sisters think they should. A very entertaining read!

The Sisters are at it again! Gotta love these girls. Its a fun fun book.
This was really cute. I REALLY enojoyed the interaction between these two old gals. It's a bit insulting since they are younger than me :). Life is funny. I always wanted a sister. Of course, I'd rather she wouldn't pull me into Murder mysteries. I'd rather read about them. This was the first of the series for me, but I have already ordered more.

I have read all the southern sisters mysteries and this one was just as great as the others. I may be partial because I live in Alabama but the books are hilarious!!
I love the Southern Sisters. They are hilarious and they get the job done!
I really love the Southern Sisters mysteries. Clean fun!
Excellent book. These Southern Sisters are a lot of fun.
It's always a hoot spending time with Mary Alice and Patricia Anne. This time they're making waves on the Florida panhandle.

Great book
Great book I read it in 1 day. I just could not put it down.
Light, enjoyable read.
Buckle your seat belts. Patricia Anne and Mary Alice are going to the beach for a vacation, and heaven help us, we're invited. Laugh out loud fun.
Why can't Patricia Anne and Mary Alice have just a normal trip to the beach? Cause it wouldn't be nearly as interesting!

Very funny, glad she writes with such humor. Great story as were the others.
Another in the "southern sisters" series. GREAT!
Great book. You will laugh and not want to put the book dow. Well written. Very fast pace and the killer is only exposed at the very last pages. Anne George keeps you laughing and guessing through out the book.
Pretty good book. Funny.
A very good cozy !! lots of laughter
Very nice, light, funny mystery. Comes together nicely, not like some who come to an end abruptly...very well written. The sisters cracked me up! About a murder of one of their friends down at Sister's Florida condo...comedy & calamity ensue. :)

Great series Fun filled with mystery intwined.
Cute cozy with the two sisters at the beach where one of their acquaintances is murdered. This would be a good book to read waiting in line somewhere, or anyplace where your attention can be divided; there's not much weight to it either literally or figuratively, but it's good to pass the time with. Funny byplay between the sisters; I liked how Mary Alice gets younger every time the subject comes up. A page about endangered sea turtles is interesting. A couple people get killed, so you can't exactly say it's wholesome entertainment...but it's got lots of family, a minimum of gore and bad language, and a couple hints of sex. Doesn't matter if you've read one of these before or not, there's lots of backstory explanation.
Just not crazy about the bad language.
