Interesting and humorous group of teachers makes a trip to Gold Rush area. The murder they encounter as they are roughing it in scenic country involves them and their group in more than a vacation outing.

2nd in series and this one better because I have visited the areamany times where the story takes place often. I have even rapelled into Moaning Cave myself. At the end your find a second murder is taking place and you don't even see it.
A great "travel-oriented" series. A nice "cozy" mystery series.
Lynne Montgomery, a 50ish travel agency owner, takes a group of California teachers on a trip through Gold Rush country -- and finds murder and mayhem as well as history. Second in the series. The solution of the mystery itself wasn't especially satisfying. The scene-setting is great.
This book was just OK. I liked the first half of it, but the second half had very little to offer. I like whodunit type mysteries, but this book had very little mystery and too much Gold Rush and personal stories. Disappointing because the premise sounded cool.
