Another winner from Tracy Kiely! Paying homage to Jane Austen's "Persuasion", there is a key relationship that mirrors that of Ann and Wentworth, including a well-meaning family friend who steered the young lady away from her true love in their younger days. The murder mystery doesn't get in the way of the romance, and vice-versa. An engaging mystery, peopled by charming characters. This is not a retelling of Persuasion, but rather a different story told with those characters in mind. A light, but satisfying read.

A long dead body is discovered buried beneath a swimming pool....Elizabeth Parker, once again, plays detective....this time to clear a relative's good name....was able to spot the killer early on, but it was still an enjoyable read.....
