pretty good book. henry viii, anne boleyn, katherine howard....what could be better than that? not the best on this subject, still, well worth reading if you enjoy and can't get enought of the tudor's.
This was interesting book BUT it is a long read. I enjoyed the part about Catherine Howard since I have read so little about her. It focuses mainly on Anne Boelyn about 2/3 of the book then it quickly scans Jane Seymour and Anne of Cleaves and then onto Catherine. It puts you right in their thought process as they go about their doomed marriage. I enjoyed it.
Jean Plaidy once again works her magic in this lovely tale of the two most ill fated queens married to Henry VIII. If you are a Tudor fan, and have never read anything by Plaidy, this is definitely a great one to start with. I dreaded the times when I was forced to put it down, I would have happily read the book in one sitting if I had the chance.
