Not so much for the general reader, this is an offering of an extensive analysis of 'the Pachuco.' During the three months before the trial, the D.A. ensured they had no haircuts so aws to look dangerous to the jury. "The perceived connection and behavior was an important component of the D.A.'s case against the boys."
I always wanted to meet a G.I. who was in L.A. at this time, but never have. Their side of this story has been totally ignored. Index, footnotes, etc.
