More trouble for Skye Denison, school psychologist and amateur sleuth. This time the case hits close to home as Skye's grandmother is the victim. While the writing remains the same, the intrigue between the characters has developed. 2nd in the series.

Second in the series. Skye Denison's beloved grandmother is found dead. Are family secrets and some rotten roots on the ol' family tree to blame?

Not the best cozy mystery I've ever read by a long shot. This one found the protagonist getting on my nerves in every aspect of her life: Professional, romance, and family. She's got quite a chip on her shoulder. There was enough for me to hang with it, especially after being told that the series gets better.

I really enjoyed my second time w/Skye Dennison in the Scrumble River books. She is an interesting characher as are the other people in her life. I especially liked it that she took on her Grandmother's cat - BINGO. Being a cat lover, I enjoy it when someone has a cat. You will enjoy reading of her adventures. I've passed this book to a friend at work. I'm now onto book 4 of the series....
