Pastor Matt Hayden is no longer the pastor in Wilks, TX. He has been living in Hester Honeywell's home, where she has two helpers: Lyle in the kitchen and Connor chauffeuring Hester (and her guests) around. After two gay bars are bombed, Lyle is arrested for the deaths. Can Matt help?
Reverend Meade and Senator Womack are back (they were important in the last story). This fascinating plot keeps the reader's nose to the page. Again, I finished this book in mere hours because it was so compelling.
