A enjoyable little cozy. I like all the references sprinkled in the book to 1950s products.

A funny protagonist and a story set in 1954 makes this book a little different from the norm--very enjoyable.

This book takes place in 1954 and the author does a good job of combining history and mystory. Her characters are well-rounded and the plot is good -- though a tiny bit predictable. But overall very well done.
It's a quick weekend read. Nothing taxing and a good escape. Definitely worth checking out the rest of the series.

If you remember the '50s, you'll love this book. If you are too young, all the more reason to read it. It takes a Real Woman to chase the bad guys wearing heels, a hat, and gloves.
