My wife is a big fan of Beverly Lewis' adult fiction (normally focusing on Amish life) so when we saw this we decided to order it to read with our kids. My daughter (Age 5) loves reading it. Included in this mystery are a series of coded clues, which we have fun trying to solve everytime we re-read this children's chapter book. Also tied in is a great lesson on the value of friendship.

This book is part of a series that has great lessons for kids. This particular book involves Dunkum's new basketball that has been signed by his hero. When his basketball disappears, Dunkum has to solve a mystery.
