There are books you read and simply enjoy. And then, there are books you love. I loved Naked Edge. Kat & Gabe felt real and alive to me. They are a couple with seemingly opposing perspectives on life, love, sex but really they are not, they just come from different life experiences. By book's end you will recognize two amazingly good souls and feel rejuvenated by the impact love can have.
I read alot of romance, in all sub-genres, and I don't come across a book that bowls me over often but this book did. Everything from the well-plotted mystery, to the pacing of the love story, the Native American backdrop, all worked together beautifully. Ladies who are looking for a hero to swoon over will find one in Gabe.
This is my first Pamela Clare book so I cannot compare it to any of the I-Team books that preceded it but if they come even remotely close to the caliber of writing as Naked Edge, I'm in for a treat.
A+

Considering this book featured a heroine who is a reporter, something I usually despise, I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I think both characters had flaws that made their confrontations seem believable. Would have given it 5 stars but for a few minor things that are personal turn offs.
