I've read a lot of her books now, and this is about my least favorite. While her writing is always simple and straightforward, and good for the sweetish tales she tells, I find this one off. I believe it is the characters. I didn't really care for them, and thought most overly-dramatic, especially the male lead. Not a bad book, but one I almost put aside from boredom.
