Sometimes difficult to read (maybe translation?), the plot really carries this one through. Overall, it's a satisfying a gratifying read - one with an ironic ending that the reader will appreciate, in spite of how he or she feels about the main character.

Nana is both a compelling portrayal of a Parisian prostitute and a brilliant evocation of the glittering, corrupt world of the Second French Empire. This is an older book shows a bit of wear at the spine and corners but is still in very good condition.
