Nana is a lovely slice-of-life girl comic about the lives of two college-age young women who share the same name, meet when they move to the big city, and become roommates. One Nana is a an extremely independent woman, a Punk of sorts, and musician fresh from leaving her band back home in a small town, while the other is a bright bubbly preppy type girl who followed her boyfriend to Tokyo, only to have her plans backfire in her face. This series follows the lives of these two very different young women as their friendship grows as they share lifes experiences, good times and hardships, all while being drawn in Ai Yazawas gorgeous style and great sense of fashion that made her such a favorite with her Paradise Kiss series.
