Another wickedly scary book by John Saul. Set in a small town,you learn one family's secrets, hidden deeds, and ghost stories. A chilling book.

Terrific and spooky. This is the book that got me hooked to John Saul.
Not really scary like King & Koontz can be, but definitely spooky and intriguing.

John Saul returns to familiar territory with this supernatural tale about a boy possessed by the spirit of a long-dead child. When her husband is accidentally killed on his father's farm, Ann Hall moves to Nebraska with her young son, Michael, to be with her in-laws. Deciding to remain in Prairie Bend, Ann soon begins to regret her decision when it looks as if her son is connected to a series of gruesome murders
