I'm Doug. I'm Wendy. We're Doug and Wendy Whiner! Remember those two "Saturday Night Live" characters? They and a cast of a thousand come to life in Charles Sykes' book. Why take responsibility for being fat when you can blame the food companies? Have a crappy job because you didn't go to college? Don't knock yourself out; blame the entertainment industry for your poor grades. If it wasn't for PS2, Nintendo, movies, music videos, television, etc., you would've gotten good grades. We've essentially become a society of slackers, blaming everyone else for our misfortunes except ourselves. Because if we did that, then we'd be admitting our guilt!
