True story of the formation of the Marine division created in WWII to utilize native speakers of Navajo to create and transmit critical information in a code based on the Navajo language. Used in the South Pacific, this code was one of the few never successfully broken by Japanese cryptographers. Paul's style occasionally goes a bit overboard, but the strength of the underlying story carries through.
