Kelly unravels another mystery with her local yarn shop friends. Real good fast read. This was written after "Knit One, Kill Two" and it has the same people but you don't really have to read the first one. Loved it.

Loved this one more than the first. Getting to know the primary characters. She is developing them all very nicely and has introduced a new one. Descriptions good for the alpacas, knitting, and the country in CO and WY. Kelly and Carl are owner and dog to love.

I love this series! I'm off to read the third book now.

In this second book in the knitting murder mystery series by Maggie Sefton, Kelly is busy working, learning to knit and trying to figure out whether to stay in Colorado or move back to Washington, DC. However, a killer makes their presence known and Kelly is off to solve yet another murder; only this time it's not a family member and the case is a bit tougher to figure out. Once again the author has done a fantastic job of keeping the reader in suspense until the end, all the while drawing us into the lives of the characters and making this book a hard one to put down!
An enjoyable cozy mystery series even if you don't knit! :)

Great series -- for knitters and those who don't knit!

Kelly is still in Colorado, waiting for her inheritance issues to be resolved. She agrees to take a group of visiting knitters to an alpaca farm run by Vickie. When Kelly arrives, she finds Vickie is dead. Who could have done this and why? I figured out this one rather quickly, but it was actually a little better than Knit One, Kill Two overall.

Great cozy mystery with Kelly Flynn, knitting with friends in Colorado and volunteering to take some tourists to visit a friend's alpaca farm. Arriving at the farm expecting a warm welcome, she finds instead splattered blood and a victim on the rug! As usual, she leaves her knitting long enough to do some investigating on her own. Filled with warm characters, exciting plot, and light humor at times, you will love this one! Also includes patterns for a knitted shell and scarf plus a recipe for "Ruth's Blueberry Pie."

The second book in a series. Kelly Flynn is learning more re knitting; making more new friends in Colorado. However, two murders need to be solved. This time it involves alpacas! Good read.

Sefton's books just keep getting better and better. I love what she's done with this mystery. It's well crafted and definitely keeps you on your toes, while still giving you a homey, relaxed feel. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This is the sequel to Knit One, Kill Two. The author's writing has improved somewhat although she still relies too much on cliches and the characters lack depth. It's a reasonably entertaining read.

Great quick read especially if you are into knitting. Book has free pattern directions plus a recipe for blueberry pie. How can you go wrong.

Nice Quick Read! And the recipes and knitting patterns she adds make it a 3 for 1 deal!

Another quick read!

I'm not really a fan of this book, (or another in this series). It seems as though the author took a formula and randomly picked names for her characters. There was no depth to any of the characters, I couldn't picture any of them in my mind either. I only finished the book because I hate to leave a book unread.

Fantastic book! Love the characters and was a fast read. I couldn't put it down.

Number 2 in the series. I enjoyed this one as well as the first one.

When Kelly volunteers to take a troop of tourists to visit Vickie Claymore's alpaca farm, she discovers Fort Connor isn't as sedate as it seems. Instead of a warm welcome, they find Vickie splayed out on her original hand-woven rug, her blood seeping into the design.

Light murder mystery.
The patterns included are very, very basic.

I really enjoyed this book. Combines knitting, color, texture, mystery and humor---all the things I love.
I really couldn't get into this book. The plot was really slow and the characters were bland.
Sit back with a cup of coffee, a good rocking chair, some knitting needles, and this book!
2nd book in this series. Lots of info once again about knitting, wool, and this time, alpacas. Pleasant little mystery. I like the fact that we get to know the characters better with each book. Recommended.
This book was better than her first. Learn a little more about knitting as Kelly takes you on a journey in the Colorado Rockies and the mystery of who killed her friend, who owns an Alpaca ranch. Learn a little about Alpaca's also. I can't wait to read her next book. Sefton gets better with each book.
Second book in a great new cozy series set around a yarn shop.
This was a fun read, with descriptions of yarn that almost made me drool. The book includes a recipe for blueberry pie and a pattern for a sleeveless shell/vest and instructions for a scarf.
a great cozy read and a comfortable fit for mystery readers who want to spend an enjoyable time with interesting charaters. Keeps you guessing.
Enjoyed this stoey. Sefton did a good job of developing the characters.
Great series. Characters and plot is enjoyable.
Another fun book with the women from the knit shop and Kelly the accountant/sleuth.
A fun read with a little mystery thrown in. The pattern and recipes that are included look wonderful.
Characters develop from the first story -- a quick read. As a knitter I can tell it's older as it has all these eyelash and novelty yarn references...... Another scarf pattern and a sleeveless shell in worsted wt at 4 st/inch and Ruth's Blackberry Pie are in the back.
Book 2 of Sefton's Knitting Mysteries series.
You do not have to be a knitter to enjoy these books... I know, I love reading this series and have never knitted a stitch in my life (haven't purled either! LOL!) I do think you will relate a bit more to the characters if you are a crafter. There is something about a community of people who share a love of fibers or fabrics or embellishments or beads etc. But as with knitting, I don't think it is necessary to be a crafter to enjoy these books.
Kelly Flynn is settling into her "temporary" life in Fort Connor, Colorado... telecommuting from her office in DC, taking breaks for caffeine and knitting with friend at the House of Lambspun, attempting a casual relationship with a handsome fella and trying to keep her dog in the yard and away from stray golf balls. If only she could figure out a way to make this permanent.
But it seems homicide is a part of this new life also. Volunteering to drive a group of touring knitters to a local alpaca farm seems harmless enough, until Kelly finds the owner dead on her latest creation. The police jump right in, but Kelly feels the need to aid them, whether they really want her help or not.
Needled to Death is a fun cozy mystery.. just like book 1 (Knit One, Kill Two) was and just like I expect all the others to be! Book 3 is winging its way here via USPS even as I type!
If you like mysteries... especially the cozy kind, check out Sefton's Knitting Series. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyable to read.
It was a very predictable story with enough knitting/fiber enthusiast flavor to keep me somewhat interested.
You are only reading this if you like both knitting and predictable mysteries. If you desire something with any meat to it you'll find it very lacking.
Very light reading... Took me less than 4 hours cover to cover to read.

Good follow-up to the series debut. Easy, enjoyable read. Cozy mystery. Set in rural Colorado - good descriptive writing.
Pretty good book if you don't mind some gramatical errors and odd use of language -- especially after reading Book 1
This is a fun mystery, especially if you like to knit.

Just as good as the first in the series. Can't wait for number three.
Accountant and new knitter Kelly Flynn tries to find the murderer of an alpaca farmer and knit a sweater.
Excellent book, very hard to put down!
An excellent read.
2nd in the series. I really enjoy the characters and the setting in this "Knitting Mystery".
Great book. It makes me want to take up knitting. Fast paced and fun!
Excellent needlework mystery. Same characters as "Knit One, Kill Two" but would be a great independent read.
Another great book about Kelly, Colorado, knitting, and the House of Lambspun. This is for anyone who likes cozy mysteries, knitting, or a little Colorado scenery.
Wonderful quick read.

I really enjoyed this book as well as book one and book three. Spoiler alert - book three names the killer in book 2! I read out of order! Getting ready to order the next in series - they're a lot of fun.
Good series.
