Helpful Score: 1
Funny Brirish novel about the prospect of a married woman having an affair.
Helpful Score: 1
Extremely funny moments in this book. Due to the fact that the author is British, some of the grammar and humor can be a bit lost to American readers, but otherwise, a great light and entertaining read.
Helpful Score: 1
Funny, slightly shocking at times but definately good.

Definitely an amusing romp - the hair dye scene was hysterical

If you have ever had to suffer through the sufferings of a hypochandriac spouse or boyfriend - you'll be able to relate to Anna' character!
Funny, light read.
Great book and lots of laughs, will get you started on this author's books.
A bit different then others I have read by her, but still good, also funny!
This is British humor! Lot of explicit sex! Tabloid reporter Anna Shapiro can pinpoint the day, three years ago, when she and her husband, Dan, last had great sex. Anna would be grateful if something as ordinary as a mer headache were her husband's excuse; Dan's hypochondriacal terrors include brain tumors, tropical diseases, and spontaneous combustion. But now an assignment for a racy tabloid expose inspires Anna to go where no journalist has gone before, to answer some questions that suddenly seem very important: What is the perfect outfit for committing adultery in? Is it beyond the pale to pick up a man---no matter how sexy---at a funeral? Yet the most crucial quesiton is one Anna never expected: Is she willing to give up her marriage and children for the biggest gamble of her life?
great read - funny
Amusing if you're in the mood.

Fun, fast read!
Easy read, quite humorous
A tabliod reporter with a hypochondriac husband and a nonexistentant sex life, turns her new assignment into a search for erotic satisfaction.
Chick lit--takes place in England--fast read.
Neurotica delivered a somewhat unique plot with a witty British humor. The reader follows the trials and tribulations of several characters caught up in the extreme situations many married people find themselves in. The British references can be a little off-putting, but if you look past that, it's a quick, light read! Perfect beach fodder!
