The author, Keith Ferazzi is an example of someone who was born to a blue collar family and learned early the power and promise of making the right connections. He has had incredible success in his life and shares some of his secrets. Chapter three- "What's your Mission?" is excellent. In this chapter he talks about turning your mission into reality and how you can do this through a relationship action map. The concepts are a bit simplistic- but for those people that are lost in social situations, don't know what to say at a cocktail party, or how to position themselves this is a must read. I highly recommend this book to anyone starting out in the business world- and anyone wanting to take a breather and re-think their goals/mission and decide a plan on where they need to go.

I didn't really like this book. The content was good, but it could've been written in 1/4 of the pages.

I agree with the other reviewer. Some good stuff in here, but a lot of it is just wasted space. A friend of mine left his copy on a plane after he was 1/2 way through. I congratulated him.
