This was good. I really enjoyed it and would like to read others in this series. The zoo angle was different. I loved Maura!
A good Leigh Koslow story
Good second story by Claire and the characters are developing nicely. I like the supporting cast and the main character. Interesting twist on this one. Enjoyable.
Number 2 in the series. Enjoyable read.
Leigh is working part time at the city zoo - working late with the vet she's had a crush on since she was a teenager. When leaving one night, she goes to investigate a noise/light in the tiger enclosure/shed. She stumbles upon a tiger gnawing on a human limb. Summarily, she's arrested for the murder (body was dismembered). Leigh has an unfortunate habit of stumbling on dead people and trusting the wrong people.
Second in nice series featuring Leigh Koslow, ad agency / sometimes vet; working in a zoo this time until she finds a tiger with a human leg...oops!
Second book in the Leigh Koslow Mysteries
Now that Leigh is out on her own she has picked up an extra job at the Zoo hospital but when a keeper is attacked, is the job worth it? It is because she gets to work with her teenage crush Mike.
The book dragged a bit but had a good twist at the end.

OK, this was the first book of the Leigh Koslow serie that I read and I LOVED it. I've read thousands of mysteries and let me tell you, the end of this one was fantastic! I'll say no more because I don't want to spoil the ending, but I was like WOW when I read it. This entire series is great actually. It's too bad that she won't be writing any more! : (
