Didn't finish. Not my thing.
Abigail has a job to do. As a Montana fish and Wildlife agent, she must trap and relocate a a wolf that is threatening local ranches, in an effort to save the species from extinction. Abby knowsthe breed well: powerful strong and lean. As rare as it is beautiful. Aggresive when challenged. A predator.
Ironically, the description fits the endangered species she's sworn to protect... and a different kind of animal, a lone wolflike Rancher Luke granger. She's trying to keep one from being hunted down-and stay clear of the other, who's doing his best to unleash her animal instincts.
But Abby refuses tolet that happen. She knowsLuke Granger's type: a man who's lived a hard, solitary life working the land. The kind of man who doesn't tame or trust easily. The kind of man who tempts a woman to risk everything...

As a wildlife agent, Abby cannot stand by an watch the rancher go after an endangered species. The rancher agrees to help her capture the wolf. Funny how the description of the endangered species fits both man and beast.
