I have been told by COUNTLESS people that you either LOVE New Moon or you LOVE Eclipse (book 3), but you can't love both. I disagree. I loved all 3 books in this series so far. I will admit though--and perhaps warn others--- I cried more reading New Moon than I have ever cried while reading a book.
I don't want to give away anything for those who haven't read New Moon yet so I won't go into details about what's tear-jerking or why some people might be disappointed. I will just say that I read New Moon in one sitting, just like I did Twilight.
The writing in this book is just as vivid and descriptive as in Twilight and the scenes created are unlike any other I have ever read.

Boring! I thought if I kept reading it might get better but it doesn't. This teenager is a most annoying person, wishy washy. It is just so much 'thinking' all the time that is about what most of the book is about-what she is 'thinking'. Doubt if I read the other two books.

The overall story was good, but I'm really surprised at how annoying I can sometimes find Bella and Edward yet still love the book. Edward is 5 times her age and is sometimes more immature (the whole guilt thing) than Bella.
The werewolves in this are pretty cool, even though sometimes annoying.
I found this a great read, though, even with some of the eye rolling I had to do over things that happen in it.

Bella is perhaps the only teenage character I know of with absolutely no personality. Edward dumps her and she goes catatonic for four months and then turns to another love interest, Jacob, to help her cope. While Bella has no spunk, no hobby, no ability to pull herself up by the bootstraps, in contrast, Jacob seems to have all these qualities. The character Jacob is what provided some interest for me in the book. If it wasn't for the character Jacob, I would have found this book as lame as the first.

from book one in this series i've had issues with the character bella. with all the strong, smart heroines in literature i'm ashamed this series has become this decade's teenage girl role model. the instant she meets edward she becomes (let's admit it) OBSESSED with him and now in this book when he dumps her she falls apart. break-ups are hard, but to this degree of devasation it's just not healthy. if i had a teenage daughter i would NOT want her to read this book. who should want to emulate bella? nobody.

I read thru all 4 Twilight books in less than a month -- I have not read a series I loved more .... ever. I highly recommend these books --- just one caution though, you may stay up too late reading and you may even be tempted to ditch school or work to keep on reading!!!!! This is a love story with a lot of action and suspense -- words don't quite describe how much I liked these books.

I liked this well enough. But... I was warned by everyone who has read it to have tissues on hand but it just did not do that to me. I am still perplexed by the attraction between them I guess to be that emotional about it. Why is their love so much more intense than anyone elses in the world? Bit silly. I am worried it will cause a generation of girls to be pathetic wusses when it comes to love like Bella is... or worse, to not recognize love when they have it because it is not earth shattering enough for them.

Not just for the teens! I read this book in a weekend, and was pleased with the vivid writing the author used to describe characters and scenery. I didn't read Twilight, but watched the movie on Friday night. After watching the movie, I had to start into the 2nd book to take me further into the story. Our 15 year old kept telling me I would love the series if I would just try it. She has chastised me for not reading Twilight though, as she has said the book gives much more information and detail than the movie. She felt the movie barely touched on some items, and was extremely simplified. I was able to read the 2nd book though and understand the plots after just watching the Twilight movie. Eventually, once I have finished the last 2 in the series, I will read Twilight.
All in all, this is a touching love story about honor, loyalty, friendship, and acceptance.

Yes, this one will break your heart in two, but don't give into the temptation to skip to the end and then read the rest. You have to travel with Bella and heartbreak to understand her actions in Eclipse. The best advice is to read New Moon twice. I was anxious the first time around, but knowing what happened at the end the second time I read it made me truly appreciate this book. This is by far my favorite of the four (five if you count the unreleased Midnight Sun) books.

I have to say I didn't like this book as much as I loved Twilight. I think that's in part because Edward is absent in about 70% of the book.

One of my favorite books of all time. Supposed to be for "young adults" but I am not all that young (tee hee) and I could not put it down. I loved that the story was about vampires and shapeshifters without all of the explicit (and often unnecessary)sex. I cant wait for the next installment.

I read Twilight years ago and remember liking it. I thought it was a sweet high school romance, and I remember being pulled in by wondering what was going to happen next - especially the second half when the action kicked in. I enjoyed it. Since then I think the whole world has read the books, and I haven't gone out of my way to read other people's opinions, but it's kind of hard not to run into them. You know when someone points out something annoying about someone that you never noticed and then after that you do start to notice? WELL NOW, the whole time I was reading New Moon I was thinking to myself - wow, Bella really is annoying! Was she like this in Twilight? And Edward really is controlling! I didn't think he was as bad in the first book, was I just completely unaware?
This was more a book that focused on Bella's inner turmoil, which made me I feel like a lot of what I read could have been condensed. Even with the ease of reading the simple language, teenage angst is tedious reading material for me.

This is the second book in the Twilight series. The characters in the books keep you fully engrossed into the story. I couldn't put this "young adult" book down. Even though some of the plot was predictable it made the emotions the main character was going through that much more believable. It is possible to read this book without reading the first in the series but I wouldn't recommend it. I had to run out to get the third in the series the second I put this book down.

New Moon was my favorite of the series....even though it was most peoples least favorite. This one is heavy on the Jacob...and I can imagine Edward fans were mighty dissapointed by that. I was not a big Edward fan for the first two books...his character didn't win me over until book 3. I love a good love triangle....and this book delivered. My heart broke for Jacob. Fortunately, Meyers made him almost unlikeable in book 3 and I got over it.

I feel that Charlie could have had that illuminating conversation with someone earlier in the book, maybe Billy or Harry. All those pages surrounding Bella's misery could have been axed, and we still would have gotten everything we needed to know.

I believe the author was going in a particular direction with that (that there was a psychic connection between Edward and Bella) and then abandoned the idea, but instead of removing the lines of Edward's voice from the book, she wrapped it up in a statement near the end, as Bella explained the voice she heard to Edward...a move which left me unsatisfied. Unless there is further exploration of the voice in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, it was an unnecessary plot line which added nothing to the story.

When I first got my hands on a thick copy of TWILIGHT, I ended up losing sleep for a week until I finished it. Night after night I could not put down the gripping tale of 17-year-old Isabella Swan and the family of vampires who virtually adopt her - some more willingly than others.
With the thrill of TWILIGHT fresh in my mind, I eagerly plunged into NEW MOON. The story takes up several months after TWILIGHT ended. Bella has enjoyed a magical summer with her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but as she closes in on her eighteenth birthday, her own mortality weighs heavily on her. Edward will be eternally young and beautiful, while Bella is doomed to age like a normal human.
In this sequel, author Stephenie Meyer starts out strong. For example, she offers some foreshadowing when Bella and Edward discuss Romeo and Juliet for a school assignment. Also, Meyer masterfully set up a potentially epic conflict that must be resolved in the next book. I'm already on the edge of my seat waiting for that one.
Unfortunately, NEW MOON did not captivate me and keep me awake way too late the way its predecessor did. It was largely lacking in the two things I liked best about the first book. First, the vampiric Cullen family did not feature as prominently here. Yes, Bella managed to make other unusual friends, but these new pals were not as compelling as the eternal Cullens.
The other thing I missed in NEW MOON was that it did not emphasize the heroine's stumbling, bumbling klutziness. That aspect of her character made her endearing in the first novel, but while it existed here to some degree, it did not provide the same level of comic relief that I enjoyed in TWILIGHT. Overall this felt like a more serious book.
NEW MOON's rating doubtless suffered from the extraordinary expectations created by TWILIGHT. I loved NEW MOON's beginning and its end, but I only liked the middle. Despite the criticisms, this is an intriguing tale that I highly recommend. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved the tone of this book. The author writes in the first person, through the eyes of Bella, an average girl who wants to be a vampire. Throw in a few other creatures of the night,one who is in love with Bella, and we've got a wonderful and realistic story! The plot is very believable and the characters are not flat. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

The second in the tale of Bella and her slightly...um...unusual? love life. I am a late 30-something and found I just couldn't muster the youthful enthusiasm for the twists and turns of teenage angst, even when vampires and other ghoulies are involved. It's a fine story, keeps you guessing, but definitely will appear to a certain segment of the reading population - unfortunately, not mine.

In the grand scheme of the 4 book series, this story is important but by itself it drags a bit. While Twilight set up the relationship between Bella and Edward, New Moon shows us what Bella is giving up and how difficult this new life that she has chosen will be for her. It shows us that even decisions that we know are right, are not always easy and there are consequences and we have to learn to toughen up to overcome these obstacles.

This series is one of the very few instances where I believe an author's politics and / or religious beliefs get in the way of the story. Bella is completely vacuous, totally without personality. Edward is a misogynistic, controlling, manipulative stereotype. The only character with half a real personality is Jacob Black, who is effectively neutered by the end of the series into a mindless drone like all the rest of the characters - except Meyer calls this "imprinting." I have no idea why this series is so popular with these cardboard characters, but I think the only reason it even got published is the cry from the hyper-religious crowd out there for a vampire series without all the pre-marriage fornication, gore, and lack of upstanding "Christian morality." Meyer breaks all the rules of established vampire lore and tradition in favor of these neutered vampires who aren't scary, aren't threatening, and aren't real on the page. In this case, I would definitely say that breaking the rules worked against the author. Meyer's religion - Mormonism - is extremely apparent in the books, making it fairly obvious she knows nothing about the process of effacement or the concept of negative capability. I managed to get through them all only because it was like watching a train wreck where you just can't stop. I would never read them again, and I certainly wouldn't want my daughter picking these up and thinking men are supposed to treat her like Edward treats Bella.

Out of all the twilight books, this has got the be the worse. The entire book is about Bella moaning and not doing ANYTHING but complaining about how Edward isn't there. And in the end, its like all was forgiven. It's a love story about a powerful male figure, and a VERY weak female figure that can't live her life without a man.
The movie is at least a lot better then the book because she isn't moaning about Edward ALL the time but I still feel its a bad example for our young women to be reading.

I am not one of the Twilight junkies you see everywhere these days so that is my disclaimer for this review. I read the first Twilight book after I saw the movie in the theater so as not to ruin the movie. I found the character development a bit weak in the book and in the film but the plot was pretty good. But true to life, Meyer's second book gets her groove. This novel finds Bella at her lowest point in the series and you learn more about her character which makes the events in the two following novels much more plausible. I loved this book and if you are having a hard time with the first novel. Hang in there. A new moon is coming.

The second book of the Twilight Saga picks up where the first left off, and is another excellent read. The relationship between Edward and Bella faces more of the troubles and dangers that come with a vampire and a human being together, and we also get some werewolves mixed in, just to make it more interesting. Like the first book, I highly recommend it for everyone, despite having the same writing and editing flaws as the first volume. It is yet another example of a book I couldn't put down.

I couldn't put this series down. I did not like the main character (Bella) at all, perhaps because she reminded me of myself at that age and how easy it is to get completely lost in a relationship, to the point of losing everything that was once important to you, all in the name of "love." That is what Bella does and I had to keep reading to see if she was able to turn herself around and reclaim herself. This book drove me crazy, kept me uneasy and I COULD NOT STOP READING IT. I want my bookclub to read this because I really want to disect her motivations.

This book has everything! I laughed and cried through this book. The way Stephenie Meyer writes, you feel like you're there and in the story. I wouldn't read this book, though, unless you've read Twilight first, so that you will understand what's going on. Highly recommended.

I think this is the one I like dleast in the whole series. Not because Edward's not in it. Only because It was alot of a morose Bella and It was annoying watching her try to befriend Jacob when he clearly liked her and wanted a relationship with her and all she can do is go see him knowing this, and pine after Edward. I liked having more Jacob in the story, but Bella is really annoying.

I just finished New Moon and went out and bought Eclipse. I did not read the first book, instead I watched the movie. I am going to buy Twilight and read it because I have heard that it is much better than the movie. I could possible believe that after reading New Moon because the book made everything so vivid. It was almost like watching a movie while reading it. I love the love story between Bella and Edward. I can not wait to start on Eclipse and see how it turns out.

While I loved Twilight, I really struggled to get through this book. I thought Bella was weak, selfish and incredibly unlikable. Her boyfriend leaves her so she completely falls apart, then she turns to Jacob out of loneliness and loses it even more when he goes MIA. Get a grip girl! For once I thought the movie was so much better than the book. The only reason I made myself finish this was because I kept thinking it must get better at some point because so many people I know loved it. That, and the fact that I own all four books in the series because I loved the first one so much. Big let down.

Not my favorite twilight book BUT you have to read it to tie in the whole saga. It introduces the werewolf pack. Edward is absent from a lot of the book.. maybe that is why I didn't enjoy it as much ;).. well the Cullens are not in a lot of the book really and I really enjoy the vampire Cullen clan. After reading the first book of the Twilight Saga, I rushed to read this one! I had gotten so attached to the characters and the story-line that this book really knocked me for a (plesant) loop! This series is an absolute horrible piece of fiction. Aside from the fact that Meyer completely butchers vampire lore, Bella is the most vapid, anti-feminist character that I have ever had the misfortune to read. The entire series involves Bella worshiping Edward calling him everything from perfect to glorious to God-like, and wondering why he is in love with her when it's so clear that she's a stupid, fragile, clutzy human who doesn't deserve him. Bella is, in a word, too stupid to live. I am seriously dismayed that so many young women adore this series when it teaches them that the only way to validate yourself is through being loved by a superior man. Aside from the troubling anti-feminist message Meyer also lacks the basic artistic skills that it takes to write a good and intriguing book. Her characterization is two-dimensional at best and her ability to plot and build a climax is even worse. The entire series centers around the relationship between these two characters, Bella and Edward, who magically fall in love at first sight with no explanation other than that Edward is hot and Bella smells tasty to Edward.
Bottom line- this book is pure juvenile romantic fantasy with less substance than a Harlequin romance and even worse writing.

I loved this book and the whole series! I couldn't put it down, I read the whole series in less than a week. It is a classic in the making. As a parent I also apprecited how moral it was since it is for young adults. The series is backed by sound morals and family values that are lacking in many YA books. Meyer promotes close family units, no drug use, safe driving, no sex before marriage, etc... Though there is sex in the last book it takes place after Belle and Edward are married which is more than I can say about many other YA vampire series. In fact it is Edward(the male main character) that encourages the abstinance throughout the series which I beleive is an excelent example for young males... one I would love to find in any boy who would date my daughters. All and all loved the books and would recommend them to anyone. They would make a great Mother/Daughter read.

I have read all four books in Meyer's series about vampires. I loved all of them. However, I found this book to be the most sad of all of them. New Moon is full of all of the angst of young love for both of the characters in this book. It is a beautiful story. Do not be put off by the fact that this is a YA novel. Everyone can enjoy it!

Please read Twilight first--this is a series that does not do "stand-alone" well. Bella is once more a wonderfully-portrayed awkward teen who feels so real and alive, as if she could leap off the page and into my living room. I also fell in love with the Pacific Northwest all over again and appreciate the dignity of the portrayal of the American Indian characters.
Supposedly this is a young adult series, but it is enthralling for us old folks on so many different levels. To those who think it merely a love story, please try to read it. Love is the enduring theme, but not just romantic love, and one thing I appreciate most is it is a series that has a strong moral sense running throughout.

I have been hesitant to read this series. I enpected a more "non-sexual" feel to the book (knowing the author) and have been bothered by all the undertones in both the 1st and 2nd book. I work with high school girls and they are all about this series. My own daughters convinced me to start reading them. They are suspensful,bur I just don't think all the sexual,suggestive things need to be in it. I am shocked that pre teen and teen girls would find this "normal". As you might have guessed,I am a 50 ish grandmother of 7 and mother to 4 grown daughters. I like a good mystery,but cut the smut....

Although this book does have a lot of repetitive information that you would need if you hadn't read the first book, it is an encompassing and engrossing story that is a great read. The word-smithing of Stephanie Meyers remains the same quality, and the story unfolds with elaborate fashion. She has an excellent way of explaining in detail the emotions of the characters - so that the reader feels the same emotions as well. A great read!
Like the first book, I couldn't put it down! I don't want to give away details, but it brings about such a range of emotions. The author isn't afraid to show the ugly side of things and I appreciate that. I can't wait to start the third book!

If anyone had told me that I would be reading the Twilight series I would have told them no way...But I decided to read the first book "Twilight" and like everyone else fell in love with the series. This book is excellent...you read it and then say "Okay, where's the next book." I totally enjoyed this one.

While the Twilight series is a good idea I find the writing itself lacking. I read all four books in a matter of a few days and if it had taken me longer I think I would have just stopped reading them. They're entertaining but they're far below the quality reading that Harry Potter provides. I don't recommend them to others unless you're a fast reader and you don't mind wasting a few hours of your time. With that said, I DO recommend Stephenie Meyer's "The Host," where her writing has improved immensely. That is a book I'd actually read again. I will never read The Twilight series again--in general it's a good idea, but the execution is lacking.

No better than Book One. Same pointless characters, same corny romance, same, same, same! And THIS is what teenage girls are swooning over? Not likely. I didn't enjoy it at all and only read it to satisfy some perverse curiosity. Read Harry Potter instead, at least there is an attempt at world building and character development. The story itself just...lacks everything. Bella is a Mary-Sue if I've ever seen one, and not someone I would want to read three books about. Meyer makes no attempt to give any of the characters more than a cursory explanation. Bella is clumsy. Edward is beautiful...blah, blah, blah. Absolutely terrible. I want my eight hours back.

I didn't think this story could get any better - but OMG! This was amazing! I could barely put it down! You think the story is going one way and then they pull a 360 on you. If I hadn't been at work reading most of the time I would have cried and yelled and certain parts. I'm sure if I was reading at home during certain parts I read I would have really cried and screamed.

I loved Twilight, this one I thought was on the boring side....it dragged on too long and seemed kind of pointless. Not much of a storyline in this book just a lot of emotions and nonsense. I think the whole book could have been wrapped up in about 200 pages than drawing it out to nearly 600 pages. I am still curious to know what happens in the series so I will more than likely continue, however I did find this one a big disappointment. I didn't find myself reading it as fast as the first book becuase I lost interest due to there not being much of a storyline until way into the book. I found myself flipping through pages just waiting for something, anything, to happen. I hope the next book is better.

This is the BEST book I have ever read. I thought that Twilight was great until I started into this one. I have never cried while reading any book, at any movie (and I've watched a lot) until I read this book and I was pre-warned that it was sad but still I read. I caught myself yelling at the characters in the book as if they could hear my very words and change what was going to happen. Then there were times that I was torn away from my reading only to realize that I needed take a breath, gasping for air as I yearned to continue reading. The passion that was on those pages was so real to me that my everyday life seemed minor to the love and devotion of Edward and Bella. Just like the first in this saga I was done in days and I am not the fastest of readers. I couldn't get enough; the thirst for more was driving me mad. This saga has become my own personal heroin. I want more!!!!

I adored this sequel in the Twilight series. This book allows you to really understand the deep connection between Bella and Edward, and it also allows brings defines Jacob's character. It is a rollercoaster of emotions, but fanatastic all the same.

Oh my!! How I loved this one! My absolute favorite (well I guess next to Breaking Dawn) in the series. I love, love, love Jacob!! I didn't miss Edward at all. Is that wrong? Jacob's character was light-hearted and made me laugh and smile throughout. Most that have read this one can't really appreciate it because Edward is gone for awhile, but give it a chance. Wonderful!

This book is deplorable. One of the worst I've ever read. Pages and pages of nothing but the main character wishing her boyfriend would come back, being completely unappreciative of what's right in front of her, and being self-destructive to entertain delusions of her perfect boyfriend's voice . . . and being rewarded for it and learning absolutely nothing. I honestly can't think of a worse message for teenagers than the message of this novel, nor can I think of one redeemable quality of this book. It's just awful.

I just finished reading this book this morning. I could not put it down either. I find it weird that I liked it because this is not my favorite genre. I am reading the series because my friends daughter(age 16) was so excited and she asked me to read it too. I did not like this book as well as the first book and am looking forward to the third book. We are on our way to purchase the movie now and see how they compare. I couldn't stop reading because the first was so good and I knew I had to read it to get to the third (it was a means to an end). Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but was always waiting for more. I am not a fan of vampires or horror books but the love story overcame my aversion to reading this series. I would recommend for any one that wants a love story too.

Romance and suspense will hold you as Bella tries to heal after her lost romance. But dont think you wont be hooked as she leans heavily on a family friend to fill the hole in her heart. Her personality changes drastically and you will laugh at some of her antics as she attempts to stay emotionally connected to her lost love. In the meantime something strange is happening to some of her friends. The author has an amazing way of reeling you in as the story unfolds. You wont put it down. Book three is definitely my next read!

This was one of the best and well written books that I have read in a long time! I would recommend it to anyone. I do think however it is written more for females but I feel it would be a good read for anyone. There is alot of talking in the book and just normal life but it is perfectly written. I haven't been this happy about reading a book like this since I read Honeymoon by Patterson in 2005. This is how much I loved this book! What else can I say! A perfect read! I like this one a lot - maybe even more - because of the werewolves, but it is sort of sad because of the whole silly break-up thing. And, honestly, Bella is very over-dramatic, silly and pathetic. I mean, that's what makes these books fun, in part, but still... it IS a little over-the-top. They are certainly fast reads though!

What can I say? An excellent and most fitting second installment of this series! The introduction of Jake was surprising, but Stephenie Meyers writes so well, she makes it seem perfectly normal for werewolves to be part of the story line - just as it was in the last book to fall in love with a vampire - Excellent book!

Of all the books this was the only one I found to be worthy of anything. I felt she really hit it on the head when discussing the break up and Bella feeling emptyness. Most girls once they've had their heart truly broken would understand this anguish. However bringing the person who hurt her back was rediculous. I don't care HOW much Edward loves her, if he truly had feelings - which I have to question since he's dead, maybe he could have tried not to destroy all of her self being. If there is anything, she should stick with the younger guy - at least he's warm

This is the 2nd book of the series. In this book there is an addition of werewolves. This book is a little slower than the first but very entertaining. I have not read a book this quickly in a long time. I didn't want to put it down!
I have enjoyed many YA and children's books as an adult, and I'm a big fan of the vampire genre, but this series, unfortunately, didn't hold my interest. The story is somewhat engaging through the first novel, Twilight, if you can get past the moderate amount of teenage angst stuff. This, the second novel, is nothing but. It drags on and on and I found myself skipping whole pages in an effort to move past long descriptions of brooding and no action. However, these books are _extremely_ popular amongst the teens-and-tweens set, and I know lots of adults who love them too. So, if you liked Harry Potter, I might give it a shot. And on Paperbackswap, the price is right :)

The only reason it's 4 rather then 5 is because there were so MANY chapters void of Edward which made it a very looooong read. Still, it WAS a very good story and as with the others I couldn't put the book down.

It's hard enough just be a teenager but add a vampire (who Bella falls madly in love with) and a werewolf (that just happens to be Bella's best friend) and you fall in to a love triangle that is bound to be filled with thrills and excitement. I enjoyed this book very much but not as much as I enjoyed the first one.
I enjoyed New Moon, very quick, easy read. Could be read without having read Twilight as Meyer does a lot of background review in the first few chapters; which I found hoakey.

This book is great for all Twilight Saga lovers and is a great read. I strongly suggest it to anyone of any age as well as the rest of this series. There is a little wear in the binding and on the corner of the pages but still in good condition as the pages are still clear and covers are perfect.

Loved this 2nd installment of the Twilight series. Read all 4 books in 4 days while recovering from back surgery. Was hard to find a book that held my interest after these. Great read for the teen thru adult ages.
Love the series, this is one of my favorite out of the 4. I am glad the movie did the book some justice. Wolves come in to play in this book. Bella is trying to function in the absence of Edward. Even though high school feels like forever ago, I can still remember my first heartache. Meyer does an excellent job in explaining those feelings. I think that's why this series was so popular with many age groups. Its not just about the paranormal. Bella finds comfort with Jacob. He gets her mind off Edward, but in the meantime feelings start to develop. But, even though the Cullens have left, some characters from the first book come back for some revenge, with some other twists. I have read this book twice. I liked it better the second time.

The second book of the Twilight Saga picks up where the first left off, and is another excellent read. The relationship between Edward and Bella faces more of the troubles and dangers that come with a vampire and a human being together, and we also get some werewolves mixed in, just to make it more interesting. Like the first book, I highly recommend it for everyone, despite having the same writing and editing flaws as the first volume. It is yet another example of a book I couldn't put down.

As the second book in the Twilight saga, the story continues for Bella and Edward. I enjoyed this book, but not nearly as much as the first book (Twilight). The book reads really fast as I was always waiting to see what would happen next. I missed not having Edward in the majority of the book, but it was entertaining to read about the La Push Tribe werewolves. Overall another great book in the Twilight saga.

For him she has always been his love, for her he is the brother that takes her around doing dangerous stuff. But Jacob has another secret soon to reveal. He's a werewolf trying to protect the people from a vampire that lately left tracks and dead people all around Forks and the reservoir. The vampire of course, is Victoria who seeks revenge on Bella for James' death.
In an attempt to feel something Bella tries herself in cliff diving which almost costs her life if it weren't for Jacob who once again saved her life.
The friendship between the two is put to the test when the frantic Alice, Edward's sister who saw Bella's jump in a vision, arrives to check on Charlie because she thought Bella died. But she's not the only one that thought the same.

Listened to this on CD and found the plot thin and Bella's whining insufferably tedious.
Why I hated it...
The writing is very muddled. A good thought comes up and becomes suddenly lost by other varient distractions. Many lost opportunites for good exploration. I really missed the vampires after the first couple of chapters. I felt like I read 350 pages worth of crap waiting for the wanna be werewolf boyfriend to either A.)Make a substantiated move on Bella / B.) Be massacured by the absent villan vampiress Victoria who doesn't even manage to eat a bug in this book but still plays a major role.
As much as we all love a good soap opera this one makes me vomit.
Why I liked it....
The exploration of teenage emotions is phenominal. I have been there. I have lived it... minus the evil alter egos, (although at the time it felt like they really were vampires and werewolves). Now with plus years and addtional superhuman characters added to my experience equation I can read fantasy crap like this and laugh. The end of the book took me by surprise. I loved the irony of the torist being hurdled like cattle into the lare of the Italian Vampire Mob. The Edward Bella Romance is as strong as ever by the end of this mess.

The writing is very muddled. A good thought comes up and becomes suddenly lost by other varient distractions. Many lost opportunites for good exploration. I really missed the vampires after the first couple of chapters. I felt like I read 350 pages worth of crap waiting for the wanna be werewolf boyfriend to either A.)Make a substantiated move on Bella / B.) Be massacured by the absent villan vampiress Victoria who doesn't even manage to eat a bug in this book but still plays a major role.
As much as we all love a good soap opera this one makes me vomit.
Why I liked it....
The exploration of teenage emotions is phenominal. I have been there. I have lived it... minus the evil alter egos, (although at the time it felt like they really were vampires and werewolves). Now with plus years and addtional superhuman characters added to my experience equation I can read fantasy crap like this and laugh. The end of the book took me by surprise. I loved the irony of the torist being hurdled like cattle into the lare of the Italian Vampire Mob. The Edward Bella Romance is as strong as ever by the end of this mess.

I started reading this series because my little sis and cousin said it was a "just have to they're great" series of books. I wasn't disappointed. This and the first were definitely better then the movies. Plan on moving on to the third to see how it goes.
I must admit, I am not a fan of the Twilight series. I didn't like any of the books - including this one. I think the main male character (Edward) is a controlling, abusive guy. I think the main female character (Bella) is in a co-dependent, unhealthy relationship with Edward. She has NO real dreams or goals or ambitions for herself, other than, of course, becoming a vampire. Which doesn't count. It also seems like she can't be fulfilled/happy by herself. If I were her parents, I'd have whisked her off to some perpetually sunny climate and gotten her some therapy.
New moon seemed to drag on a bit. I am a member of team Edward so the fact that he was not in the book as much gave me a bias opinion. After reading Eclipse however, I realized that New moon was what made the third book all the better. New Moon was the book that helped strengthen the character relationship between Bella and Jacob.
If read in your head it is not as bad. but I don't recommend trying to read these books out loud. The writing continuity is Horrid.

This book is great, as the follow up from Twilight. It gets more interesting with every passing book. Highly recommended.

I was surprised to realize I vastly prefer this book to the first in the series.
The parallel with Romeo and Juliet was amusing. Jacob was a fun character, and the background of the tribal wolf powers was quite interesting. It is a strange but somehow believable dichotomy that Bella is such a pathetic mess when Edward leaves her, yet turns to extreme sports to try to keep him around in her head. Too bad they didn't have a psychiatrist on the vampire staff as well as an M.D., LOL!

This was a good book, although i wasn't so happy with the storyline. These books are well written and captivating.
New Moon picks up the tale of Edward and Bella's rocky love story. Without giving too many spoilers, this is a much darker book than Twilight. A surprising plot turn in the early chapters of the book results in hundreds of pages of broody teenage angst. As a grown up... that part was a little tiring.
However, this book sees more development of the Jacob-Bella relationship, brings about a new paranormal angle to the series and lays the groundwork for the series main Big Bad and the conflicts to come.

Very interesting, attention-capturing fiction. Has romance, but isn't trashy. I read the books after seeing the movies, and am very glad I did. The books explain so much that the movies can't.

This is the first book I read in the series. Starts off happy, then turns tragic, a whole new interesting world gets introduced, action and then happiness again. That's what a good book is. At first like everyone else I was upset with Edwards character is he an idiot? Of course I got over that. I really ended up growing to love Jacobs character,poor guy. I understood where Edward was coming from once I read Midnight Sun. Depressing at times in the beginning. The Volturi was great. I love Jane.Plus I always do love reading about tragic romance. Stephanie Meyer did it again. Great Book.
Even though most of this book is about heart break, in the end, everything happens as it should. It makes you laugh, but in the times when she's really in her depression it's like you can actually feel how she felt. It was absolutely fantastic.
I was really surprised that the book was a big change from the first one. There was definitely more action in the second one, with some expected and not so expected surprises. It begins pretty much where the first book left off, which is something I like with books that are in a series because then you don't feel like you missed anything. I as more on the edge of my seat when reading this book than the first one, but I think that was because I saw the movie before reading the book, and that sort of killed the mood. If you read the first book and didn't really like it, please try this one. I feel like the second book explained so much more than the first one and offered more to the reader. This book actually made me hunger for the third book in the series.
Picks up right where "Twilight" left off, and is just as great! I read the whole series one right after the other because I couldn't put them down!

The second book threw me a twist I'd only half expected. I was a little disappointed with how the other main character was absent except in memory for the majority of book. It would have been nice to at least glimpse what Edward was up to while he was gone.

A good sequel to Twilight, written in the same breezy style for young adults.
I actually liked this one a lot better than the first one, Twilight. It seemed to move a lot faster and keep the plot going better. I do find the main character, Bella, a rather whiny, annoying, ungrateful person though. She just doesn't strike me as deserving of the love/admiration of all of these men/boys.
I understand the need to have a relationship develop between bella and jacob, however I did not enjoy this book as much as the first, I found Jacob to be too much of a whiner than I would have expected, I did not find it necessary to have Jacob "fall in love" with Bella, why is it often hard for authors to maintain a platonic yet loving relationship between a female and male lead character.
This book centers on Bella's never ending love,heart break and Jacob's friendship and unspoken love for her. You find yourself more and more drawn into this saga.
Great continuation of the story. This series is wonderful!

I am going to be the odd one out, but I sincerely dislike the Twilight series. Twilight doesn't bring anything new to the vampire nor the young adult cannon. It is not very well written either. This has been called "abstinence porn" by critics. I found these books to showcase regressive roles for woman, to be hetreocentric, and to propagate "the one" myth (that there is only one person you will love for the rest of your life). I was especially unhappy that the main female character, Belle, is stripped of all sexual agency and autonomy. Some parts geniunely creeped me out and not for any supernatural reasons. These are my impressions only and while I understand many people enjoy these books (as is their right) I did not.
This one did not keep my attention as well in the beginning. Again, I wish I had read the books before I saw the movies. However, you can't read the saga without reading this one. In my opinion, this book is a slower read than the first one, but picks up after a bit. I still liked it though.
I got sick of hearing about how Bella was moping around. I skimmed through those parts. After she quit being such a whiner the book really picked up. I didn't much like the dynamic between Bella and Jacob. If she's still in love with Edward, she should either get over him and move on to Jacob or don't start moving on.
Overall I liked it and I plan to read the rest of the series before I decide if I want to keep it or not.

This book got a little boring after a while. Bella just kept on thinking, and thinking, and thinking and thinking! New Moon was suppose to grow Bella and Jacob together. I got extremely bored with it but the ending was good.

This is one of the most frustrating books I've ever read. It caused me anxiety for the couple of weeks it took me to finish. That means it's an awesome book. The story is very well put together. Meyer's writing isn't the best, but she still proves she can hack it. I didn't want to read Eclipse yet, because I can't handle the anxiety this series causes.

I am not a teen. However, I immensely enjoyed this series of extremely creative books. The plot line is original and the read was very quick and interesting, even for the enormous size of the book. A page turner - great read for summmer by the pool or airplane travel as you can put this down and pick it up again very easily.
I love this series! This book was as good as Twilight, in my opinion. It was sad, though. I actually shed a few tears, but it was also humorous at times.

I loved the entire Twilight Saga Series. It is not only a romance book, but it also takes you through the suspense (non-scary), drama and intrigue emotions. They are very easy books to read and very hard to put down. The writter, Stephenie Meyer, did a good job in writting these books, by getting your mind so involved in the story that you feel as if you were part of it...at least that's how I felt. One thing I see is that even though the books are intended for the pre-teen/teen audience, I personally would not allow a child younger that 15 (depending on their maturity level)to read them, specially the last book...Breaking Dawn. This one should not be read by someone younger than 18. I am not sure how they will make that one into a movie without giving it an "R" rating. But, all for all...they are great books for women...and men...to read. I loved them. They are definitely at the top of my "favorite books" list.

The second book in the Twilight saga (and in my opinion, the best) continues the story of Bella Swan. After a disastrous birthday party, Edward leaves Bella out of fear that he might hurt her, which leaves Bella in a stupor for months. Continuing her life without Edward seems like an impossible feat, but her childhood best friend Jacob Black comes into view and starts healing the cracks in her heart.
Soon though, Bella discovers Edward's family wasn't the only family with a secret. There's something strange happening with Jacob, and Bella is going to find out in this terrific story that you won't (I know I couldn't) be able to put down.

I sat down to read just one chapter, and before I knew it I was at the last chapter and it was over. Can't wait to get the next one.

I was not really impressed with Twilight, but read New Moon anyway. It blew me away. Stephenie Meyer really pours her heart and soul into Bella's depression and it hurts reading it almost as much as she suffered writing it. I was completely immersed in Bella's character, and all her joys made me happy and her sorrows made me cry. Much, much better than the movie.

Bella has enjoyed a magical summer with her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but as she closes in on her eighteenth birthday, her own mortality weighs heavily on her. Edward will be eternally young and beautiful, while Bella is doomed to age like a normal human.
In this sequel, author Stephenie Meyer starts out strong. For example, she offers some foreshadowing when Bella and Edward discuss Romeo and Juliet for a school assignment. Also, Meyer masterfully set up a potentially epic conflict that must be resolved in the next book. I'm already on the edge of my seat waiting for that one.
Unfortunately, NEW MOON did not captivate me and keep me awake way too late the way its predecessor did. It was largely lacking in the two things I liked best about the first book. First, the vampiric Cullen family did not feature as prominently here. Yes, Bella managed to make other unusual friends, but these new pals were not as compelling as the eternal Cullens.
The other thing I missed in NEW MOON was that it did not emphasize the heroine's stumbling, bumbling klutziness. That aspect of her character made her endearing in the first novel, but while it existed here to some degree, it did not provide the same level of comic relief that I enjoyed in TWILIGHT. Overall this felt like a more serious book.
NEW MOON's rating doubtless suffered from the extraordinary expectations created by TWILIGHT. I loved NEW MOON's beginning and its end, but I only liked the middle. Despite the criticisms, this is an intriguing tale that I highly recommend. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

Well once again I started reading and was not able to put it down. I cried while reading this one more than when I read Twilight. I love the way that the author describes the scenes of what is going on..it is so easy to visualize the scene. Now I can not wait to read New Moon!
I was very surprised that this book was as good as the first one! I loved reading about the friendship between Bella and Jacob. It was also interesting to learn more about the legends of vampires and werewolves.
I basically agree with everyone else on here when they say that this was their least favorite book of the series so far due to the lack of the Cullens (especially Edward) but that it is neccessary for the story to move on. This book is filled with a lot of emotions though that will drag you in with them, so you will feel exactly as Bella does. And you'll soon understand the choices she makes and why. Granted sill a good read, but I wanted Edward to be around more in this story instead of Jacob. But hey, you gotta get through the slow parts to get to the good parts!

The second book in the Twilight series opens with Bella's senior year and her 18th birthday. She doesn't want to celebrate this birthday and is appalled that people are acknowledging it. She is extremely upset that Edward and his sister Alice are so excited and that they've decided to throw a party for her at their home.
She reluctantly agrees to go to the party and all hell breaks loose when she gets a paper cut while opening a gift. Remember that Bella is a klutz and while everyone else's paper cuts simply hurt immensely, Bella's produce blood. Enough to make Jasper, one of the Cullens, loose control and almost attack Bella. While the Cullen family holds Jasper back, Bella falls, breaks a mirror and cuts her arm on the broken mirror. Now, chaos ensues in the Cullen family and Edward, his father, Carlisle, and mother, Esme, are barely able to rescue Bella from the rest of the family. (Why they didn't get feed before the party is just beyond comprehension -- apparently they haven't read the dieter's guides to not overeating at a party -- eat first so you aren't hungry at the party.)
Within a few days of the party disaster, the Cullen family leaves Forks and Edward goes with them, telling Bella he doesn't want her. He takes all evidence that she has of him in her life -- photos from her scrapbook, the CD he made for her, etc. Bella is heartbroken, but the author takes pity on the reader and devotes 5 less pages to her moping by labeling them October, November, December, January and a brief paragraph about coming out of her misery without Edward.
Her father insists that she stop moping and missing Edward (wow -- it took her father over 4 months to kick her ass into living.) She has maintained her grades, worked a job a the local outdoors retailer and kept the house running, but she hasn't done anything to move on with her life and now she starts to interact more with her friends. Although, not surprisingly since she had no interest in them when Edward was around, they aren't as excited to spend time with her.
She soon realizes that thinking about doing dangerous things, makes her feel better and she hears Edwards voice anytime she thinks about them. This makes her decide to actually do something dangerous and when she sees two old beat up motorcycles being offered for free, she nabs them. She sneaks them over to Jacob Black's home -- the Black's are old family friends that live on the reservation in La Push -- and convinces Jacob to restore the bikes. He'll do the labor and give her riding lessons; she'll pay for the parts and let him have one of the bikes.
Bella and Jacob start to spend a lot of time together and her father is happy about this, but he is still worried because she is letting her circle of friends once again be her and a boyfriend. Charlie continues to push Bella to hang out with her other friends.
Plus, there is a new danger in the Forks area. Campers are reporting sightings of huge bears and people are being found mauled to death.
Then one day, Bella learns Jacob's secret and why Jacob and his family never liked the Cullen family. Jacob is a werewolf -- a recently acquired skill for him and his friends -- and werewolves are the enemies of vampires. They'd lived peacefully with the Cullen family because of a treaty that Jacob's great-grandfather had negotiated.
Bella is still intent on doing dangerous activities and one day she decides to try cliff jumping. Alice, Edward's sister, has the gift of premonition and has seen Bella jump and has told the Cullen family that she has seen Bella die. Alice returns to Forks to try to stop Bella -- but she's too late. Bella has jumped -- but she is pulled from the water by Jacob.
As they are leaving the beach, Bella sees something red in the water and realizes that it is Victoria, who she has learned is out to kill her to avenge the death of her mate James (from Twilight) and is trying to get to Bella. Jacob and his werewolf friends have been protecting Bella from Victoria. But Jacob can't protect Bella anymore when Alice arrives. A misinterpreted phone call from Edward causes Edward to take actions that will get him killed and Alice and Bella head to Italy to try to save Edward.
Will they get there on time? Will Charlie kill Bella when she gets back from Italy? Will Jacob ever be friends with Bella again? Oh, the tragedy and angst of a teen-agers life.
There are just so many things wrong with this story. A teenage girl is has no life without some boy -- who is now hard and cold. I don't remember Edward's body being described as hard as stone in the first book. And her desire to be turned into a vampire which is forever but her unwillingness to say she'll marry Edward -- which should be forever as well. Her main objection to the marriage -- her mother thinks she should wait until she's 30 so she doesn't make the same mistakes that she made by marrying Charlie young. Never mind what her mother might think of her decision to go for dead at age 18.

He takes all evidence that she has of him in her life -- photos from her scrapbook, the CD he made for her, etc. Bella is heartbroken, but the author takes pity on the reader and devotes 5 less pages to her moping by labeling them October, November, December, January and a brief paragraph about coming out of her misery without Edward.
Her father insists that she stop moping and missing Edward (wow -- it took her father over 4 months to kick her ass into living.) She has maintained her grades, worked a job a the local outdoors retailer and kept the house running, but she hasn't done anything to move on with her life and now she starts to interact more with her friends. Although, not surprisingly since she had no interest in them when Edward was around, they aren't as excited to spend time with her.
She soon realizes that thinking about doing dangerous things, makes her feel better and she hears Edwards voice anytime she thinks about them. This makes her decide to actually do something dangerous and when she sees two old beat up motorcycles being offered for free, she nabs them. She sneaks them over to Jacob Black's home -- the Black's are old family friends that live on the reservation in La Push -- and convinces Jacob to restore the bikes. He'll do the labor and give her riding lessons; she'll pay for the parts and let him have one of the bikes.
Bella and Jacob start to spend a lot of time together and her father is happy about this, but he is still worried because she is letting her circle of friends once again be her and a boyfriend. Charlie continues to push Bella to hang out with her other friends.
Plus, there is a new danger in the Forks area. Campers are reporting sightings of huge bears and people are being found mauled to death.
Then one day, Bella learns Jacob's secret and why Jacob and his family never liked the Cullen family. Jacob is a werewolf -- a recently acquired skill for him and his friends -- and werewolves are the enemies of vampires. They'd lived peacefully with the Cullen family because of a treaty that Jacob's great-grandfather had negotiated.
Bella is still intent on doing dangerous activities and one day she decides to try cliff jumping. Alice, Edward's sister, has the gift of premonition and has seen Bella jump and has told the Cullen family that she has seen Bella die. Alice returns to Forks to try to stop Bella -- but she's too late. Bella has jumped -- but she is pulled from the water by Jacob.
As they are leaving the beach, Bella sees something red in the water and realizes that it is Victoria, who she has learned is out to kill her to avenge the death of her mate James (from Twilight) and is trying to get to Bella. Jacob and his werewolf friends have been protecting Bella from Victoria. But Jacob can't protect Bella anymore when Alice arrives. A misinterpreted phone call from Edward causes Edward to take actions that will get him killed and Alice and Bella head to Italy to try to save Edward.
Will they get there on time? Will Charlie kill Bella when she gets back from Italy? Will Jacob ever be friends with Bella again? Oh, the tragedy and angst of a teen-agers life.
There are just so many things wrong with this story. A teenage girl is has no life without some boy -- who is now hard and cold. I don't remember Edward's body being described as hard as stone in the first book. And her desire to be turned into a vampire which is forever but her unwillingness to say she'll marry Edward -- which should be forever as well. Her main objection to the marriage -- her mother thinks she should wait until she's 30 so she doesn't make the same mistakes that she made by marrying Charlie young. Never mind what her mother might think of her decision to go for dead at age 18.
I'm looking forward to how much more ridiculous the storyline can get.
Enjoyed the book very much but missed Edward not being in the book as much as in Twilight. Very quick reading. Can't wait to read the next one Eclipse.

This book was not as good as the first one. bella is drepressing and edwards an idiot but its good for die hard fans. the first one was def better i read it in 12 hours. didnt eat, sleep or shower! gross i know but its the power of mindless teenage(and old ass vampire) love.

Second book of the saga. Have heard from friends who have read all four that it is the slowest of the four, but I have to say that I did like it. I read it in about two days. I can't wait to read the last two.
Very good read for people of all ages! Loved all the books in this set! Bought them all and could not stop reading even in Thunderstorms and total darkness. Not scary at all! Very nice and it was great to read it and then see the movie.

I wouldn't say it was difficult to read the entire book but it was very repetive in the beginning. Once you get half way through the book it does pick up and the rest of the series is great.
I enjoyed this book just as much as the 1st book. I wish it had more of Edward in it as he was only truly present in the beginning and the end. But I also enjoyed the parts with Bella and Jacob. Like the 1st book, I devoured this one in less than 2 days. A great beach read and I can't wait to read the 3rd book! I am definitely one 30-something who is now hooked on the Twilight series. I am also looking forward to the movie version of New Monn which is supposed to be released this fall!
Finally broke down and read Twilight and was impressed how much I actually enjoyed it. New Moon however is terrible. Too much whining and teenage drama and immature. and the movies are terrible.

I've read the whole series now and loved it, but this was the toughest of the four to get through. Although some pretty pivotal things happen at the end, most of the book is pages and pages of Bella's depression. I don't think I'd read it again like I have the others...just a heads up. The series rocks though!
My least favorite of the series but still a fun read. I'm totally in the Edward/Bella camp, rather than the Jacob/Bella camp, so I was most interested in the latter half of the book. Good all-around romantic teen angst fun.

my final foray into the Twilight universe. This book sucked. Bella was a completely selfish, self-centered, suicidal, insecure, self-lying witch. If this is the type of character teen girls want to read about and emulate, then we are all doomed. But maybe we'll get lucky and all those types will just off themselves and do the world a favor. Maybe that is actually Meyer's sinister secret plan. A kind of Literary Eugenics Master Plan? LEMP for short ;-)

This book moves the slowest out of this series. Though I do incredibly enjoy all of the books. It is a book that gives you much needed information. It shifts the focus to a different area of Bella's life. It will not disappoint.

After watching the movie "Twilight", I decided I have to read these books! I can tell you you will NOT be disappointed! As soon as I got to the last 50 pages or so I literally ran to every store to find "Eclipse" (the third in the four series installment).
This one was much more entertaining and interesting to me than Twilight. The story flowed much better, and while not totally unpredictable, it was entertaining. While Twilight was all "fluff" to me, New Moon has a touch of darkness that is just a bit more grown up - more what you should expect from a vampire story. Twilight was somewhat of a disappointment to me, but this one makes me want to read the rest of the series.
There's nothing in the story that doesn't just keep getting better. I love the characterizations; the book comes to life as I read it which is the best compliment I can imagine for any book.

i have all the series on e-book i thought i was written for the teens and it certainly has all the teen melodrama . i kept reading though fast read for me. read the whole series in a few days
This book is, by far, the best of the series. I read it in 8 hours because I couldn't put it down. It had a lot of action, the characters were developed, and it was a very easy read.

A good continuation if you like the Twilight series. The characters are well written and Meyer makes you care about them. The plot line is ok, but you really need to read the book withing the series.

This was the worst of the 4. It was incredibly sad but at the same time made Bella seem a little pathetic. It is however a must read since its #2 in the saga.

A Nice continuation of the Twilight saga this series reminds me of the Harry Potter series but has a more "coming of age" feel to it and goes beyond that too.
I found myself quite torn with this book. I like the dynamic of Bellas relationship with Jacob a whole lot more than the one with Edward. Jacob isnt as wicked jealous and doesnt try to push Bella away - as much. I feel like Bella is better with him, able to speak her mind and not having to worry constantly if shes going to make him angry. Yet, despite liking that better and knowing thats a much healthier relationship, I still found myself yearning for the time when Edward would be back in the book.

Not only is she ungrateful, she is whining about it.
She gets a papercut when she opens the gifts and has instinct kick in for the vampires.
They end up leaving town, for fear of starting a hunting fest.
Bella mopes and then remembers her friend Jacob in La push.
She gets some old motorcycles and with the pretence of fixing them, starts hanging out with Jacob.
Jacob has feelings for Bella that she won't return.
The bikes get built, Bella learns to ride, and Jacob gets used.,
All is going just like she plans until a movie night, Jacob feels sick.
He drops off the map for several weeks and come to find out, he has a heritage at the reservation.
He is a werewolf, protector against the Cold Ones.
Alice shows up at Bella's house one day and Bella is now drawn back into the Cullen spell.
Bella decides to do some risky behaviour and jumps off a cliff to swim, only she did not take into account the tides and undertow.
She is rescued by Jacob, and Alice thinks she is dead.
Edward, finds out and thinks Bella is dead and he is going to end it all too.

Loved, loved it. It was really emotional. kind of put me in Bella's place and made me feel like I was the one going thru the emotions. Especially if you've been thru heartbreak like that. It will make you cry in certain places. Really sad.

Horrible book, honestly much worse than Twilight. Though the other two installments in the series 'Eclipse' and 'Breaking Dawn' were just as horrible... I don't understand how anyone can like these horribly written pathetic books.
Not as good as the first of the series (Twilight) but still a great book. Slow in the beginning but speeds up at the end. I enjoy this series. Can't wait to read the next book.

I had trouble putting it down.... I'm just dying to get reading the next book...
Boring. Dull. Lackluster. Waste of time. If you know what's good for you, you won't read this book. The characters are boring, the writing is lame and the story line is completely laughable. Waste of TIME.
