Very Good
I liked most books I've read from this author. This one was good as well, but the cigar smoking got to me. You can tell this happened during the early 90's before non-smoking became poltically correct.
Rebecca Cullen didn"t want to fall in love with Rourke Kilpatrick. At 24, she was raising her two brothers and working their Georgia farm with no time for a personal life. Until her brother was arrested on drug charges and she was forced to spend a lot of time with D.A. Kilpatrick.
Great book. Loved the way Rourke accepted Becky for the person she was. He wasn't ashamed of the fact she was very poor and had no problem pursuing her in public view despite his own obvious wealth and public status as a DA. Really enjoyed this one.

This was probally one of the best Diana Palmer ive read. It started out slow, but the ending made up for it, so sweet. It is a very steamy read with sex scenes. The hero wasnt a butthead as the usual Palmer characters, but the herione was very green about life in general. I really enjoyed this book alot.
